Security
Home Tech. Wiring, Inc. has ample training on security systems from both CertiTech and
Honeywell.  Our service includes complete wiring and installation of a security system
customized specifically for your family's needs.

Using cutting edge touch screen controls with picture icons you can control the security level of
your home by switching from alarm to chime and arming or disarming specific entrances with
ease.  Entrances can be monitored by glass breaks, open/close contacts, vibration detectors,
motion detectors and cameras.  Smoke detectors can also be combined with your security
system.  Motion detectors can even be programmed to ignore your pets moving about within
your home.

Once your system is programed in a way that suits your family's lifestyle, you can choose to have
your system be either strictly an alarm system, or you can have the added security of connecting
your system to a monitoring station.

With the monitoring service, when the alarm trips, the monitoring service will contact you by
phone within seconds.  If there is no emergency, you simply provide your password and the
alarm will be considered a successful test of your system.  If the correct password is not provided
or if you request emergency response, an emergency team will be dispatched to your home.

FYI:  Through most home owners insurance carriers, a home security system with monitoring
gives you up to a 20% discount on your home owners insurance rate.

Home Tech. Wiring, Inc. will design a security system to match your home's custom needs.
There are many  cookie cutter installation companies that have extremely basic security
packages, but usually don't meet the assumed expectations of the homeowner or the
contractor.  For example, some doors and windows are left unsecured and their systems
usually do not tie into any other equipment.

For example...

In your average home, your smoke detector is a device on it's own.  If it detects smoke and
alarms, it is up to you to hear it and respond.  In our systems, the smoke detector is tied into
the security system.  This means that if the smoke detector is activated, it also activates the
security system, which if monitored, will automatically contact emergency assistance.  You
will be called within seconds.  If it is simply a burnt piece of toast, you will notify the
monitoring service that assistance is not necessary.  Otherwise, help will be on it's way.

With motion detectors, glass breakage devices, shock sensors and overhead door
contacts your security system will prevent and alert you of unwanted guests.  Systems are
programmed based on your comfort level and your desired use.  For some customers a
basic programming of arming and immediate disarming is preferable and for others
multiple code useage with redundant systems in play are highly desired.  Customer
preferences are always taken in consideration for final programming....because if you don't
use your system with comfort and ease it just isn't worth it.
